Netherlands Antilles
The Netherlands Antilles was a constituent country of the
Kingdom of the Netherlands. The country consisted of several island territories
located in the Caribbean Sea. The islands were also informally known as the
Dutch Antilles.
Curacao
The port has two main docking spots.
The CuracaoMega Pier is designed for large ships that can't fit under the
city's famed Queen Juliana Bridge. The Mega Pier is located in West Willemstad,
just a few minutes' walk into downtown. Smaller ships dock at
the Curacao Cruise Terminal.
Willemstad
The Port of Willemstad is the main port of the island of
Curaçao. All kinds of maritime facilities for all types of incoming and
outgoing vessels are available. With the new T-shaped jetty outside the St.
Anna Bay, the Port of Willemstad can handle more than one mega cruiseliner at
the time.
Aruba
Aruba, a tiny Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of
Venezuela, has dry, sunny weather, blond beaches and gentle
surf. The port of Oranjestad, currently the main commercial
harbor of Aruba, is situated on the south-western end of the island.
Barbados
Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles,
in the Caribbean region of North America.
Bridgetown
The Port of Bridgetown, is a seaport in Bridgetown on the
southwest coast of Barbados. Situated at the North-Western end of Carlisle Bay,
the harbour handles all of the country's international bulk ship-based trade
and commerce.
